Floating lights… flowing life…

an absolutely incredible performance by Kathak exponent Sanjukta Wagh.
There was only one lamp on the stage.

Little eyes.. and big dreams..

Standing at the door of a dark room in Rajmachi village near Lonavala, an old woman was telling story to her grandson…

‘Grandma, wasn’t I the prince in the story you told?’
‘Yes, my dear’, said the old woman with a nod.
‘Then where is my white horse? where is my sword?’
She laughed lifting him up as the camera focused…

Her ash-white hair, her wrinkled skin…
His twinkling eyes, smiles never get old.
She knows a secret, he knows it too..
Click; and the moment was thus captured.
(poem by Satyabrata Sahu)

Smiles…

Spent awesome time with these kids ( Tenzing and Phunchok) playing with stones and singing rhymes with them

Ignorance is bliss…

Happy little kids in an orphanage at Madh island.

Muddified…
it’s worth it

Innocent SMILES…

When it comes to Happiness, Togetherness is probably the most common cause of such feelings…

When wrinkles speak one’s mind…

It’s beautiful to see that how wrinkles bring clarity on one’s facial expression, and at the same time, it brings clarity in thoughts with each experience one gains in life.

In the shadow of happiness…

Can it really catch my nightmares?

Saw these beautiful handicrafts named ‘dreamcatchers’ in the Christmas market in Berlin. These were handwoven willow hoops with items like feathers and beads, which are considered sacred in some Native-American cultures. Traditionally, they are believed to ward off bad dreams.

Bonjour Priti, je ne connais pas l’anglais. Je suis tombé sur ces photos. La photo de la danseuse est géniale, je parle de son incroyable. Je n’ai jamais rien vu de tel auparavant. Bon travail. J’aimerais en voir plus. Amour

Greetings! Hey Priti. The photo of the dancing girls is awesome! I like the how you captured the perfect moment, synchronisation, form, graciousness and the intensity. I would call them Indian Ballerina’s. Perfect! -George

      Hi George,
Thank you for your kind words. I am glad you liked it. The dance form is an Indian classical dance called Kathak. 🙂
